How to score in my Bahasa Malaysia Paper 2 exam

My exam is getting close but I don't know what topics to focus on especially my KARANGAN. What type of questions will be coming out? 

No worries, let us guide you the right techniques to nail through or even score better in your Bahasa Malaysia PAPER 2 exam.

For UPSR Bahasa Malaysia Paper 2 consists of 3 sections. 

• Section A - Constructing Sentences (Bina Ayat) worth 10 Marks
• Section B - Write an Essay worth 30 marks
• Section C - Write down the moral values based on a given situation  worth 20 marks

Most of the time, you find writing an essay can be maddening,  exasperating process but it doesn't have to be like this if you understand the right way to do it. 

Here, let us reveal how you can write your own interesting karangan and help your paper stand out among the countless piles of drab.  Since  Section B  it's worth 30 marks in your paper 2, so we will discuss on Section B first. Just remember when you are writing your karangan, you must have at least 6 paragraphs (perenggan).

• 1 perenggan untuk pendahuluan
• 4 perenggan untuk isi dan
• 1 perenggan untuk penutup

Writing a karangan is not just about writing the correct introduction, body and conclusion. You need to use a lot of Kata Adjektif,  Kata Ganda, Simpulan Bahasa, Perupamaan, Pepatah and Bahasa Kiasan to describe a certain thing, action, place, feeling, situation, behavior and etc so that your karangan is interesting enough to entice your readers to read on.

Following are some examples of  Kata Adjektif,  Kata Ganda, Simpulan Bahasa, Perupamaan, Pepatah  that you can use it for your karangan.

Kata Adjektif Jati

• Kotak ini besar.
• Wanita itu sungguh cantik.

Kata Ganda

• Keadaan di dalam rumah menjadi gelap-gelita akibat bekalan elektrik terputus semasa ribut.
• Suasana di majlis perkahwinan itu menjadi riuh-rendah kerana dihadiri oleh orang ramai.

Simpulan Bahasa

• Jazmin seorang budak yang ringan tulang.
• Dia berasa hancur hati apabila terdengar berita datuknya yang baru meninggal dunia. 

Perumpaan

• Penduduk kampung berganding bahu bagai aur dengan tebing untuk membaiki titi yang sudah rosak.
• Ayah memandu dengan berhati-hati kerana jalan ke Genting Highlands bagai ular kena palu .

Pepatah

• Penduduk Kampung Aman dipilih sebagai kampung contoh di peringkat daerah kerana penduduknya mengamalkan cara hidup berat sama dipikul ringan sama dijinjing.
• Emak selalu mengingati kami berbuat baik dan jangan sesekali cuba berbuat jahat bak kata pepatah buat baik berpada-pada, buat jahat jangan sekali.
